Playing with PlayDoh provides some really good deep pressure for children. It gets their hands really working, squeezing, rolling, scrunching, pushing, and on and on. It gives them something to focus on and something to do that is both productive and creative and I have seen many a child benefit from that type of sensory input, becoming more calm and more focused after working with PlayDoh for some time.
With that being said, your kiddos are going to get to play with some super fun PlayDoh because this week, it's going to be Halloween themed! The details about the Halloween PlayDoh are at The Picky Apple. So are the directions for making PlayDoh in the first place. For the Halloween PlayDoh, you'll have to omit the red food coloring and spices from those directions. Have fun!
