Today's Preschool! for March 19, 2013

We have such a fun and busy day today! We will be asking a very funny and interesting question when Betty rhymes a rhyme with us. Also, we're going to get the chance to make an Easter puzzle, figure out which words start with, "B," (like Bunny), and decorate Easter eggs. Have fun!!

LET'S SAY HELLO!:

TABLE WORK

Come on and help your little one create a fun and cute Easter puzzle that they can glue together, and use as a decoration, or play with again and again for fun (and number practice). Easter Number Puzzle

SENSORY PLAY:

Here's a fun and easy thought: go ahead and cut out an Easter egg shape for your little one. Then, grab some tissue paper. Have you kiddo rip the tissue paper into small piece, scrunch it up into little balls, and then glue it on the egg, decorating it for Easter! This is great fine motor work and it totally strengthens the hand and finger muscles, while providing a fun break. You can always break this multi-stepped activity down into a more manageable phrase to help kiddos who are struggling with following more than 1-step directions. Go over with them: 1) Rip, 2) Scrunch, 3) Glue. Have the repreat is back to you and go from there. It's a good time!
