Make Your Own Easter Puzzle (with modifications)

Let's take a look at the Preschool Pack from the Over The Big Moon site. On Page 11, you'll find a full page, Happy Easter picture. The idea here is that your kiddo is supposed to cut out the picture on all of the different lines, creating 10 strips. Then, the child is supposed to glue them back together, on a separate piece of paper, to create an Easter puzzle/picture. There are numbers at the bottom of each strip to help the little one figure out which piece goes where. Check out the pack of worksheets and then check out my thoughts:

MODIFICATIONS: There are a bunch of different ways that you can make this activity a little more manageable to a kiddo who is having some difficulty. One way is that you can go ahead and highlight the lines that she is being asked to cut on with a bright marker that really helps them stand out on the page, making the cutting more manageable. You can also write out the numbers from 1-10, in order. This way your child will have something to refer to when she is figuring out the order of her puzzle. Not quite enough? Go ahead and write those numbers directly onto the paper where your kiddo will be gluing. Now, she only has to find the strip with the matching numbers and glue it onto the marked spot. Have fun!
