Today's Preschool! for March 12, 2013

Let's tell a funny fingerplay poem, find some hidden letters, learn which one is biggest and more! It's today's Preschool!

LET'S SAY HELLO!:

TABLE WORK

There's a fun activity for your little one today that asks him to find the letter Cs. It has a great big St. Patty's Day clover on the page, so it's definitely a festive one. Come check it out along with my little modification! Find The Cs!

SENSORY PLAY:

Music is always a great sensory experience. Here's a way to make some easy shakers to give your kiddo a chance to shake and make music, work some arm muscles, and get in a little percussion practice. Just grab a few plastic Easter eggs, scoop some rice into them, and close them up. You can seal them a little better with duct tape or even hot glue if you'd like. No eggs around? No problem. Have your kiddo decorate the back of a paper plate with her favorite shades of green. Then scoop some dry beans onto the front of the plate, fold it up into a half-circle, and staple or tape it closed. Either way, you've got a quick, easy, and fun break for today!
