TABLE WORK:
Grab a pair of scissors, because kids love cutting activities! Here's one just for Valentine's Day! Valentine's Cutting Practice (with modification) |

SENSORY PLAY:
Why not make a Valentine's Day Sensory Bin? Check out this post on Rice and Sensory Fun. Hop onto Google and print out two copies each of some hearts or Valentine's pictures. Put one copy in the the bin and give your child the other copy. Then, have her find the matches to her pictures! You can also die your rice for the holiday. Just put the rice in a plastic baggie, add a teaspoon or so of rubbing alcohol, and a little bit of red food coloring. Shake it up and then pour it onto a paper towel to dry. Better yet, do all of that with your little one by your side, helping. It will make it all the more special and fun! |
