What happens when you are SURE there is something in your closet... or out your window... or in the corner? Shadows are learning everywhere in this spooky tale.
There Is Something In My Closet
There is something in my closet,
And it's giving me a fright.
There is something in my closet,
But it's only there at night.
I think it only lives there,
When you turn out the light.
Oh please, oh please can I sleep in your bed tonight?
There is something out my window,
And it scares me half to death.
There is something out my window.
I can almost hear it's breath.
You told me that it's just a tree,
And I should try to rest.
But you'll be sorry when it eats me,
And I'm left here, quite a mess.
There is something standing in my corner,
Staring in my way.
There is something in the corner,
Wasn't there during the day.
I've been told to go to sleep,
And promised it won't stay.
But I'm scared it will come after me,
No matter what they say.
Daddy says he'll bring me back to bed,
And that's just what he did.
I pulled my covers up and closed my eyes,
So tightly as I hid.
Even if their only shadows,
I think I'm right to throw a fit.
'Cause don't you think a shadow might want to eat a little kid!?
