Pumpkin Counting for Halloween (with modifications)

Just because Halloween is over doesn't mean that we can't sneak in one more fun pumpkin activity! This one can be found on page 15 of Pumpkin Pack 2. The idea is that your little one will draw a line, beginning with the jack-o-lantern at the top of the page and ending at the jack-o-lantern at the bottom of the page. This isn't going to be just any line, though. This line must follow along the numbers, 1-20.

Recognizing written numbers might not be where all of your little ones are at, just yet. And, if they are, the numbers 11-20 might still be something new. If you find this to be a problem, or if remembering those written numbers while trying to draw a line and follow a path is tough in and of itself, try writing out the numbers, in order from 1-20, at the top of the page. This way, your children will have a visual representation of what they are looking for as they seek to complete this activity. Have fun!
