Sorting activities are among some of my favorites - especially worksheets done in the style of the one that your children are going to get to work on today. I just love that there is cutting and gluing involved with the sorting. You can find today's activity on page 13 of this Halloween PreK Pack.
Sure, the tops of those columns on the page are labeled clearly... but our kiddos can't necessarily read just yet. For those who can remember what they say, or have a basic knowledge of letters and letter sounds enough to be able to remember which column is which are all set. For any others, you may want to consider drawing a small picture of candy on top of the "candy," column and a small picture (it can be a stick figure - no worries) of a person at the top of the "trick-or-treaters," column. You may notice a big difference! Have fun!
