Leprechaun Letter Sorting (with modification)

To get ready for St. Patrick's Day, I have been checking out the preschool pack over at the Our Little Monkeys website. One of the activities in that pack is a letter L (for leprechaun) sorting activity. The child working on it is asked to put all of the uppercase letter Ls in one spot and the lowercase letter Ls in another. It's a fun one and definitely worthwhile for little ones to try. Go ahead and grab the pack and take a look at the activity, on Page 12, and then check out a quick thought that I had.

MODIFICATION: Often, with these kinds of sorting activities, I recommend drawing a picture or, at least, noting what is supposed to be sorted at the top of each column. Here, that's already done for you. Awesome, right? If you're kiddo is still having some trouble figuring out what goes where, go ahead and circle the uppercase and the lowercase letter Ls at the top of each column. That should do the trick!
