Cutting On Christmas! (with modifications)

We're right in the middle of talking about a great set of activities from the Confessions of A... Homeschooler site. Today, we're going to touch on something that we have definitely covered here in the past: cutting.  So, turn to Page 3 in your...

MODIFICATION: It should say, "Christmas Cutting Practice," on the top of the page and you will see a bunch of different dashed lines. Cutting is so much fun for little ones (and bigger ones). If your kiddo can cut these without a problem, then don't worry about what else I have to say. If not, try using a highlighter, marker, or crayon to highlight the lines that you want your child to cut on. You can do this before you give them the page or even after you show them the page, highlighting the line as you are describing what you want them to do. If you do your highlighting beforehand, make sure you do trace over the lines that you want your little one to cut on with your finger in front of them. Believe it or not, it can really help a ton!
