Pumpkin Halloween Fill In The Numbers

"Fill in the Numbers" type activities are some of my favorites. I'm not sure why, other than the preschoolers that I have worked with over the years have loved them! The idea is that you fill in the missing numbers along a path, to get from one end to another. Sometimes the numbers are simply consecutive (1, 2, 3, 4, etc.) and sometimes they are a little bit trickier (2, 4, 6, 8, etc.). The skill level of the activity is based on where your child is at. Today's Fill In The Numbers is a Halloween Pumpkin Fill in the Numbers activity.

MODIFICATIONS: Quite simply, if your kiddo is not quite able to write the numbers in herself, pick up some dot shaped label stickers and you can go ahead and write the numbers on those ahead of time. Then, all your little one has to do is peel and stick away. In either case, whether she is writing the numbers in herself or using the stickers, consider writing out a number line on a separate piece of paper for her to reference if necessary. Have fun!
